What is a Halo Ring?

A halo ring features a circle of smaller diamonds surrounding the centre stone on a ring or piece of jewellery. It is named this due to its similarity to an angel's halo, all diamonds in the halo face upwards in the setting adding to the size and sparkle of the central stone.

This visible “halo” is great when you want the stone to appear larger without the expensive price tag. What is a Hidden Halo Ring? 

The hidden halo has a similar concept on a thinner band, however the diamond halo is not visible from the top view of the ring, when you look beneath the centre stone you will notice the hidden halo around the base of the setting, meaning you mainly only notice it from the side profile of the ring. The top view of the ring could look like any other solitaire or shoulder set engagement ring. 

This is where the design gets its name as the halo is hidden underneath the center stone. It's perfect for couples that want a minimal ring design but with a little intricate detail. It’s a more understated way to add sparkle, perfect for someone who prefers subtle details over extravagance.
